For over 120 years Empower Missouri has brought together a team of anti-poverty advocates to learn together, make connections, and advance our mission. Our 2023 Anti-Poverty Advocates Summit will be held in Columbia on November 6th and 7th. Featuring keynotes from Annie Watson and Taj Sulleyman, you won’t want to miss it!
Attendees will receive training, support and inspiration to advocate on affordable housing, criminal legal system reform, food security, and other anti-poverty issues. You’ll have access to amazing keynote presentations, workshops from local and national anti-poverty organizations, and coalition meetings to finalize policy agendas for the 2024 legislative session that starts in January. Together, we will use our voices to influence policy that will bring an end to poverty.
The Summit takes place at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Columbia. If you wish to book a hotel room there under our special pricing, follow this link or call the front desk at 573 442 6400 and select option three.
