Town Hall: Food Access for a Lifetime (University City)

Take action this month to ensure that Missourians of all ages have food on the table! Empower Missouri’s team is holding Town Halls this year to work with Missouri communities to improve nutrition across the state.

For older adults good nutrition is key to continuing to live an independent and healthy life, but with rising food costs, many older Missourians are finding it harder to make ends meet. The good news? There are resources and programs available to help.

Join Empower Missouri on Wednesday, December 10th, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at University City Library to:

  • Learn about state and federal programs like SNAP that support a healthy, balanced diet.
  • Hear what programs you may qualify for.
  • Use your voice to influence change TODAY!

Lunch will be provided at no cost to attendees, so please RSVP below to let us know you’re coming. You can also sign up for our newsletters to make sure you hear about additional upcoming events or other opportunities to get involved.
