Week of Action

Mark your calendars for the 2024 Week of Action, March 25th-28th! The Missouri legislative session is heating up, and we need your voice in Jefferson City.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, join us over your lunch hour for virtual learning sessions. Each session will include a brief presentation on foundational knowledge and skills that every advocate should have in their toolbox. After the skill building presentation, we’ll take a deep dive into one of the issues that we’re working on this legislative session, followed by a call to action related to that issue. We’ll wrap up with time for Q&A.

Our Day of Action in Jefferson City is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th. We’ll kick off with an opening rally in the First Floor Rotunda, followed by a variety of learning experiences. Participants will visit with their elected officials to share information on core policy issues in criminal justice reform, food security, affordable housing, and more. There will be opportunities to attend a variety of skill building sessions presented by our Director of Advocacy, Sarah Owsley, observe the House and Senate while in session, and attend hearings. Lunch will be provided for all registered participants. Register below to join us!
