Skyrocketing rents and the lack of tenant rights has created a system that is heavily stacked against Missouri tenants. Too many of us are, or have been, at the verge of homelessness. Thousands of us are faced with unsafe living conditions and deceptive or discriminatory practices. Tens of thousands of us are being evicted each year, while the rest of us continue to endure rent increases. But things don’t have to stay this way. We are stronger together than we ever could be as individuals.
Folks like you are coming together to build tenant power and organize for a different outcome. We are connecting with tenants and allies to mount powerful, people centered campaigns to win truly affordable, accessible, safe and decent housing for ALL of us.
