Shonté Byrd is an experienced Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. In 2016 she decided to pursue a Juris Doctorate degree and become a licensed attorney to fill the gap in providing legal services to working and middle class families. She has a comprehensive bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Sociology from Northwest Missouri State University, a Master’s degree in Social Work Administration and Advocacy from the University of Kansas, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. Shonte’ currently works as an Assistant County Counselor for the St. Louis County Counselor’s office. Shonté is also the principal attorney at Prime Heritage Legal Services, LLC where she provides low bono Estate Planning services. Shonté participates in a number of community organizations and boards that focus on improving quality of life for the most vulnerable populations. In her free time, she enjoys online shopping, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and spending hours in her craft room doing DIY projects.
