Advocacy InternJanessa Riehle is a Kansas City native serving her second-year practicum placements as our Advocacy Intern while she completes her Masters of Social Work at the University of Kansas. She started her career in nonprofit development in a local charter school and after the pandemic shut down, she began engaging in outreach efforts to provide aid to the unhoused community local to KC. Janessa values the power of collective action and advocacy as tools to ensure that everyone’s needs are met across the state.
