On April 21st, 2021, Empower Missouri held a Day of Action to talk about Affordable Housing in Missouri. Our panelists discussed housing needs in the state for low-income families. The latest report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition titled “The Gap: A Shortage of Affordable Homes 2021,” found a housing shortage of over 122,000 affordable and available rental homes for extremely low income households in Missouri.
