NEW in 2025, this free virtual training series will focus on building skills to prepare both new and seasoned advocates for the session ahead. Working with our Advocacy Director, Sarah Owsley, and other members of the Empower Missouri team, attendees will learn (or get a refresher on):
- The legislative process in Missouri
- How to submit testimony, and tips and tricks for making an impactful impression
- Important faces in the Capitol
- How to build relationships with your legislators
- And more!
Sessions will be held on Zoom from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. each day, from Monday, January 6th, through Thursday, January 9th. Lessons will build on each other, so attendance each day is encouraged, but not required. Register below to join us!
