How did you first hear about Empower Missouri, and what inspired you to get involved?
I learned about Empower long before I came to work here.. In fact, Empower was the first organization I collaborated with as a new-to-Missouri advocate in 2009.
What is your favorite memory from an Empower Missouri event?
The 2026 Day of Action was a very inspiring event. We filled the Capitol rotunda for our rally and everywhere I walked that day I saw attendees going in and out of meetings with legislators.
What do you hope to see in the next 25 years for Missouri?
A state that prioritizes safe and stable housing, healthy food, and justice for everyone regardless of where they live or how much money they make.
