Board Member
Kimberly Henderson is a Kansas City native and is currently the Housing Services Manager for The Salvation Army’s Kansas City Area Command. In her role as Housing Services Manager, she manages a portfolio of housing programs that includes a mobile Houseless outreach program, two permanent supportive housing programs, and two senior affordable apartment communities. Kimberly believes that housing is a human right. In that vein, she serves on the Affordable Housing Steering Committee of Prosperity Now.
Kimberly earned a Masters in Organizational Development from Avila University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She also holds several Multifamily Housing Industry Designations. Kimberly has worked and volunteered in the nonprofit sector for the past 21 years. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
