Izzy Litwack (she/her) is a public health professional and health equity advocate. She has a background in health education with her Master’s in Public Health (MPH) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She currently works for Community Catalyst as a public health Technical Assistance Provider, working with small grassroots organizations across the country on local healthcare systems policy change.
When Izzy was a young girl, her grandmother instilled the Jewish notion of “tikkun olam” (“to repair the world”) in her and her cousins. It is because of her that she does any of this work.
In her spare time, Izzy is an avid “theater nerd”, stage managing at St. Louis’s Stray Dog Theatre. She loves to explore St. Louis with her husband Ian, attempting to find the best breakfast sandwich the city has to offer.
