Town Hall: Missouri Housing Trust Fund

Connect and learn with us this month as we work toward making sure that Missourians of all ages can find safe and affordable homes! Empower Missouri’s team will be holding Town Halls this summer and fall to hear from Missouri communities.

Nearly 75% of Missouri Housing Trust Fund requests were partially or fully unfunded in 2025, leaving thousands of families without the housing support they desperately need. Join us on Friday, August 22nd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at the Kansas City Public Library-Northeast Branch, to come together with peers and advocates to discuss the critical need to move from partial funding to full solutions.

We’re building a coalition to close this gap and fully fund the Housing Trust Fund, because housing is a right — and partial support isn’t enough. Join us to learn more, share your perspective, and help amplify the call for increased investment in Missouri’s housing future.

Lunch will be provided at no cost for attendees, so please RSVP below to let us know you’re coming. You can also sign up for our newsletters to make sure you hear about additional upcoming events or other opportunities to get involved.
