Cámara de Comercio de KC: "Qué pueden hacer las empresas para ayudar a los ciudadanos que regresan a tener éxito"

John Jenks is currently Director of Public Policy at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Has been with the KC Chamber for nearly three years and oversees the Chamber’s advocacy work in Kansas, Missouri and also heads up the Chamber’s Workforce Opportunities for Returning Citizens Initiative that looks at reemploying and reintegrating people leaving our prisons. John also oversees the policy advocacy work centered around criminal justice and reentry policy. He also helped create the Chamber’s Greater KC Report economic dashboard that highlights and recognizes key economic and policy areas in the Kansas City area. John has a deep passion for politics and has served on various campaigns including the Better KCI Airport Campaign that passed overwhelmingly in November 2017 and campaigns during his time in Mississippi. John grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from the University of Mississippi’s Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and Trent Lott Public Policy Leadership School with a degree in Public Policy Leadership and Economics and a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications.

 

Andrew Weisberg is the Director of Community Engagement at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Andrew helps oversee the chamber’s efforts around workforce development, anti-crime and violence, entrepreneurship and community outreach. Andrew holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Kansas.
