Our free, online Back to Session Bootcamp will help you be prepared to take immediate action to influence state laws and policies. Looking ahead to the 2026 Missouri legislative session, we know that ALL of us are needed to stand up for vulnerable community members. If you’re not sure where to begin, or would like a refresher, we can take this moment to get ready. Sarah Owsley (Empower Missouri’s Advocacy Director) and other members of the team will cover:

● How you can provide testimony (in person or online) in committee hearings
● How to make a strong impression on legislators
● Who you should know in the State Capitol, and how to connect

Your questions and thoughts are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to attend all three days of the bootcamp if possible. The sessions are helpful independently, so if your schedule only allows you to attend one or two of the workshops, you’ll be able to follow along.
