Amber Smith comes to Empower Missouri with an educational background that includes a BA from Columbia College in Political Science and a MA in International Relations from Webster University-Leiden, NL. She’s worked in the nonprofit field the past 6 years doing direct service work for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. She now serves as a member of the policy staff focusing on affordable housing in the Lake of the Ozarks region where she has lived off and on since 2000.
